Given the ongoing uncertainty and challenges created by the COVID 19 virus in our schools, we would like to clarify IQAA's plans regarding school evaluations going forward.  

At a meeting on 7 December 2020, ISASA and IQAA agreed that all school evaluations scheduled for 2020 and 2021 would be postponed to 2022 or later. 

As the way forward continues to be uncertain, the plans for 2022 will only be confirmed with you towards the fourth quarter of 2021.

IQAA will however continue to offer certain interventions such as:

• Values and Society involvement (Overview of the school ethos, social awareness and transformation)
• Transformation and Diversity intervention (In-depth probe of transformation in your school)
• Climate Study (Customised study of the climate in the school)
• Educational Quality Surveys - including Distance Education provision (Surveys that will provide instant information regarding the quality of your provision)
